Easter is Over – How to Recycle Easter Egg Foil

Now that Easter is over we are left with lots of tiny torn pieces of foil. I know you are thinking “aluminium foil goes in the recycling bin” but before you put all those tiny torn pieces in remember the second rule i.e. size matters. So how to recycle easter egg foil? simply scrunch all the foil into 1 large ball.

Like most things, there is a catch with this process and that is that the foil from 1 little egg will not make a large enough ball. This means that you have 2 choices:

  • Eat more chocolate eggs, or
  • Wait until you have enough waste aluminium foil to bulk up the size

Which option will you choose?
